The famed Oak Tree Golf Club in Edmond, Okla., site of numerous amateur and PGA Tour events, will reopen in July under the new name of Oak Tree National.

The course was purchased last year by Oklahoma businessman Ed Evans and has undergone numerous renovations to the course, added a teaching facility and improved service levels.

Designed by Pete Dye, Oak Tree has hosted the 1984 U.S. Amateur, the 1988 PGA Championship, 2000 PGA Club Pro Championship and the 2006 Senior PGA Championship.
